RECEPTIONIST / ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing mail and redirecting phone calls.  This position will also involve some accounts receivables responsibilities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms, and brochures)
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Order office supplies
  • Organize daily checks (Data entry and online deposits)
  • Drafting customer letters for AR Department
  • Clerical updates for customer accounts
  • Contact customers regarding past due balances

EDUCATION:  High school graduate or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:  Computer experience is required (Word, Excel, Outlook)

JOB TYPE:      Full time (Monday – Friday; 6:30AM – 4PM, Overtime included)

STARTING RATE:  $18.00 (negotiable, with experience)
